How does your refund policy work?
Bills Reminder is a month-to-month, pay-as-you-go service so we don’t provide refunds. You are billed every 30 days for the service. You can cancel the service at any time and you won’t be charged again, but you are responsible for any charges already incurred.

You can pay monthly, or in one lump sum for as many months in advance as you’d like. Once you’ve signed up you can set up the lump sum payment on your Account page. Invoices are automatically emailed to the account owner every time you are charged. Yes, we do accept POs and cheques as long as they are in Indian Rupees (INR) and payable in Mumbai.
If we upgrade will we be billed twice this month? If we downgrade will we be prorated?
When you upgrade you are instantly upgraded to the higher plan but you don’t have to pay the higher price until next month’s bill. When you downgrade you are instantly downgraded, but you don’t begin paying the lower rate until next month’s bill.
Whenever I try to log in, the login page just reloads and doesn’t display an error message. What’s up?
The most common cause of this is that your browser isn’t set to accept cookies (a cookie is a text-only string that gets entered into the memory of your browser). Bills Reminder requires that cookies are turned on so the application can track your session and know who you are as you use Bills Reminder.
Instructions for turning on cookies in most web browsers can be found at "How to Enable Cookies" or"How to control cookies." For more information on cookies, see this Wikipedia entry. The other possibility is you have a firewall or security system set up that is too strict. It’s preventing cookies from being accepted or Javascript from being run. Bills Reminder needs both cookies and javascript in order to function properly.
Where can I find our invoices or get a copy of an invoice?
The Bills Reminder account owner can log in to their Bills Reminder account, click the Plans and Payments tab, and scroll down below the plans chart. All the invoices ever posted to the account will be listed there.
What is an account owner? How can I change the account owner on my Bills Reminder account?
The Bills Reminder account owner is the person who originally set up your Bills Reminder account. The account owner is the only person who can up/downgrade plans, change billing information, and cancel accounts. At the moment, we do not allow the changing of an account owner.
How do we cancel?
The account owner is the only person who can cancel the account. To cancel, click on the "Settings" tab. Once you are on the Settings page, scroll to the section that says "Need to cancel your account?" Click the link that says, "Please cancel my account (I understand this is irreversible)."
Note: There is no undo for cancellation. Once your account is cancelled, all your information will be immediately and permanently deleted.
How do we upgrade or downgrade?
The account owner is the only person who can upgrade or downgrade the account. Changing your plan is easy. Just click on the "Plans and Payemnt" tab and you’ll see your options in the chart near the top of the page. You can upgrade from any level to any level at any time. In order to preserve your users, you can only downgrade to a level that can handle your current active user count. For example, if you currently have 20 active users you can’t downgrade to the Basic plan because the Basic plan only allows 15 users. You’ll have to delete 5 users before you can downgrade to Basic.Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately. The new monthly rate begins at the start of your next billing cycle.
What is the refund policy?
Bills Reminder offers a free 15-day trial on new paying accounts (Personal, Basic, Plus, and Premium). Your first charge will come 15 days after you originally sign up. If you cancel before this first charge, you won't be billed at all. If you cancel after you are billed on day 15, no refund will be issued and you will be charged for the rest of that month. For example, if you are billed on the 18th of every month and you cancel on September 24th, you'll still have to pay for the entire current month (September 18 - October 18 in this case). You won't be charged again after that. Accounts that begin as an upgrade from a free account do not qualify for the free 15-day trial. You are responsible for whatever charges have been incurred. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.
How does the 15-day free trial work?
There are two ways to try Bills Reminder for free.
1. Sign up for the free 1-user plan. This plan is free forever but does not allow you to manage more than one user and 5 bills at a time.
2. Choose a paying plan and you can try Bills Reminder for free for 15 days. You can cancel any paying account within 15 days of signing up and you won’t get charged at all. After 15 days, you’ll be charged for that month and start being billed monthly.
Note: You need to stay on the plan you initially selected to try Bills Reminder for free. Once you change your plan, billing begins. Of course, you can still cancel at any time. You’ll just have to pay for that month.
What happens with the 15-day free trial if I upgrade from a free account to a paying account?
Upgrading from a free plan to a paying plan ends your free trial. Once you upgrade to a paying plan, you will then be charged for your first month. The 15-day free trial applies only to people who sign up for a brand new paying plan (this does not include upgraded plans). So if you upgrade from a free plan to a paying plan, the free 15-day trial no longer applies. When you upgrade a free plan, you see this message that explains how this works:
For example, if you sign up for the free 1-user plan and then you upgrade to a paying plan 12 days later, you will immediately be charged for your first month (the 15-day free trial no longer applies). You will continue to be charged every month after that until you cancel your account. You can always cancel at any time.
